ISTA 3A是ISTA 3系列测试程序之一，是一个通用的模拟性能测试程序，用于评估通过包裹递送系统运输的单个包装产品的效果ISTA 3A测试程序适用于四种常见的作为单个包裹运输的包装类型，分别是小型、平面、细长和标准型。

Test item 测试名称:Packaged-Products for Parcel Delivery System Shipment 70 kg (150 lb) or Less小于或等于70公斤（150磅），通过包裹邮递系统运输的包装产品

Test info 测试内容:请客户提供包装的尺寸来确定应选用哪一个测试Small: small packaged-products shall be defined as any packaged-product where the:

 1. Volume is less than 13,000 cm3 (800 in3), and 2. Longest dimension is 350 mm (14 in) or less and 3. Weight is 4.5 kg (10 lb) or less                        

Flat: Flat packaged-products shall be defined as any packaged-product where the:1. Shortest dimension is 200 mm (8 in) or less and

2. Next longest dimension is four (4) or more times larger than the shortest dimension, and3. Volume is 13,000 cm3 (800 in3) or greater.

Elongated: Elongated packaged-products shall be defined as any packaged-product where the:1. Longest dimension is 900 mm (36 in) or greater and

2. both of the package’s other dimensions are each 20 percent or less of that of the longest dimension.
