墨叔叔的话：圆圆是墨叔叔看着从襁褓中的婴儿长成今天十岁的小姑娘的2016年此时，当他们全家离开中国赴美时，墨叔叔为了维持圆圆方方对中文的热爱而创立了一个节目叫《圆圆方方听故事》，后来更名为“老墨家族”所以，圆圆方方是老墨家族最早的两个小听众。

当墨叔叔旅居美国时，就住在圆圆方方家中他们还曾参与过节目录制，有兴趣的小朋友可以在《狗戴猫铃》往期节目中寻找他们的声音圆圆应墨叔叔之邀，开始用日记的形式记录自己疫情期间在纽约的学习生活，这也将是一段宝贵的历史，老墨家族的粉丝们也将通过她的眼睛，感受地球世界村另一面的风风雨雨。

△这是圆圆在iPad上画的画画中的人物，圆圆取名为Aqua，是圆圆为自己选定的OC我刚刚发现，自从写这些日记以来，自己发生了多大转变一个月前，我写的是新冠病毒，而且只有新冠病毒现在，我能展现更多我的生活和其他的事物了。

新冠病毒给我们上了一课，但每个人学到的都不一样对我来说，它让我知道我可以成为一个作家，并且需要尊重那些医护人员，他们每天都在冒着生命危险我们的老师布置我们写一篇历史小说他们让我们自己选一个时间点和角色来写。

大部分人选了独立战争，因为我们最近正在学这个，但我选择了第一次世界大战我比较了解一战，我选中的角色是一对好朋友，尤尔根和薇薇安，一个德国男孩和一个法国女孩在战争开始之前，他们是多年的好友，你可以想象接下来会发生什么。

One months ago I was writing about the coronavirus, and only the coronavirus. Now I am able to be more open about my life and others. The coronavirus teaches us a lesson, but all different ones. For me, it was that I could become a writer, and to respect hospital staffs. They risk their lives everyday.。

Our teacher is making us write historical fiction. They made us choose a time period to write about and the character(s) within. Most people chose the Revolutionary War, because we were studying about it, but I decided to go with World War 1. I knew a lot about it, and the characters were two friends, Jürgen and Vivienne, a German boy and French girl. Until the war, they had been friends for years, and you can imagine what happened next. If you are not a WW1 geek, the French and the Germans fought harshly. I settled with it. It was going to be easy to write about.

So, there are some good news thrown in there. Quite a lot of it. There are bad news. Nothing new at this point. I’m used to bad news since the coronavirus started.

Does anyone know what an OC means? It means Original Character. Most people have one, one that resembles themselves, the way they want themselves to be, or the way they feel about themselves, or simply reflecting their personality.

I made one named Aqua. She is blind in one eye, lost in battle, showing how sometimes I could be misguided, and how I lost the battle against sanity itself, leaving my inside insane and yelling for help. She is short tempered but sensitive, like me. She secluded herself from any deep relationship, and even her friends. Often, she likes a quiet place to read, draw, or write. She prefers the seaside, or next to some body of water, which reminds her of the peaceful place she and god met. Some time ago, she lost total control and gave into her intentions, she couldn’t take the pain anymore, going on a rampage that left a scar in her history, left a dent in her self esteem, and gave her a mental wound that would never heal. Just like a drastic event in my life that did the same. 

All my friends have an OC, and one of them, one that would cheer me up, had one named Tick Tock. She was a savior to Aqua, one that would change Aqua’s course. Aqua would open up more, have more of a social life, and her friends grew. Just like my friend did to me in real life. Our OC are metaphors of what we are. They can make you reflect on yourself, and could help your mental health.
