Adam Young大学二年级生Adam Young在2007年创建了Owl City（猫头鹰之城乐队）一个人，一台电脑，就组建了一个乐队，还包办了主唱、编曲、创作、混音合成的全部工作OC的曲子，初次听觉得它可以是炎炎夏日里的薄荷冰镇柠檬茶，清凉解暑；也可以是冬日里刚出炉的巧克力慕斯蛋糕，甜柔温暖。

粉丝们给OC的音乐风格起了个很甜的名字:泡泡糖电音既有梦幻的神秘色彩，又有电子音乐的动感节奏OC的声音就像少女倾诉心事一样温文细气，但对旋律节奏的掌握却十分到位，像宝石般闪烁明亮，征服了不少听众

Adam Young乐队主打歌曲《Fireflies》一经推出就登上了各大音乐电台以及音乐榜单的冠军宝座，受到乐迷的热烈追捧而Fireflies给我的感觉是轻快，空灵，清新，有云端的幻想，也有浅吟低唱，好像在做一个特别愉快的梦。
