【范文】My Ideal① JobWhen we are asked about what we want to be in the future, we have different answers. We may want to be a doctor, a lawyer, a politician, a scientist or a worker, and so on.

My ideal job is to be an excellent teacher. This idea came into being② when I was very young. No one is born with knowledge. If I am a teacher, I will be able to turn an ignorant man into a learned③ person. I will teach what I know to my students. Sometimes, I will be able to learn something from them because students are always active and creative④. So life will be interesting and meaningful⑤.

Bu I know it isn’t easy for me to be a good teacher. Being a teacher needs knowledge, patience⑥, skills, etc. First, I must study very hard so that I will be able to answer most of my students’ questions. Second, I must learn to be patient. I shall not be rude⑦ to my students. Third, I should have good teaching methods. It doesn’t follow that a teacher with great knowledge can make himself understood quickly and clearly.
