千古文章,立意为上。——英语读后续写存在“立意”问题吗?杜老师的答案是:续写“立意”无需新,“立意”高远却是好! —— 我们当要“学以致考”,更要“学以致思,致趣,致美”!
一、什么是“立意”?所谓立意,就是确立文章的中心思想,明晰自己要表达出的基本观点和思想感情在艺术作品的创作过程中,立意占有极重的分量唐代诗人杜牧说:“凡为文以意为主,以气为辅”清代学者王夫之说:“意犹帅也!无帅之兵,谓之乌合。
”《红楼梦》中,黛玉教香菱学诗时也说:“第一立意要紧”这些都可说明“立意”的重要性
因此,作者在创作前,首要的事必须是:思考我为什么写这篇文章,要体现什么思想,告诉大家什么道理英文读后续写,尤其是应试性的英文读后续写,虽然跟“文学创作”距离比较远,但是它也需要作者首先立意只有首先立意,才可能有如下思考:。
先表达什么,再表达什么;多表达什么,少表达什么;主要表达什么,次要表达什么;总体表达什么,分层表达什么··· ···总而言之,只有首先立意,才能想象构建出合理、紧凑的情节与细节今天,我们以续写23《小狗脱孤记》为例,来聚焦“如何立意”。
二、如何立意
(一)要能懂文本这里懂文本,不仅要能够读懂字面意思,而且还要能够读懂字里行间,乃至字外蕴意如果,有些同学还不能读懂字面意思,那就需要多翻字典,多做旁批,多做整理,多做复习当前,国家教育部门在积极地倡导深度阅读,因此,我们要更为重视:读懂字里行间,乃至字外弦音。
这里杜老师建议:同学们能够分析文本角色,分析其所见所闻所想,尤其是所思所想,情感态度
例如:该文本中出现的角色有:Parents, the boy,Poppy, Bella (暂把another dog取名为Bella).这些角色遇到了怎样的事情,情感上有哪些变化,这是我们需要考虑的通过阅读,我们不能得出以下信息:
Parents: 不忍和孩子分离,不忍看到Poppy的孤独状态The boy: 不忍和父母分离,不忍和Poppy分离Poppy: 不忍和小主人(the boy)分离从这种分析中可以看到, 其实每个角色都因分离,而有孤独感,而觉不快乐。
其实,文本中的一些环境描写也暗示了这种感觉例如:The houseseemed quiet as a tomb without the boy living there.家没有孩子住就同坟墓一样这个比喻让人心碎。
上述内容,就是我们需要读懂的内容。如果你读不出这些内容,你要看是不是因为“生词太多”,或是“不喜欢动物类文章”,或是其他什么原因。然后对症下药。
(二)要有同理心同理心,就是换位思考那么在写作立意过程中,就是能站在文本角色的角度来思考问题在本篇文本中,大家要能站在父母的角度,要能站在小孩,以及小狗的角度来思考问题站在父母的角度,我想到了:(1) 父母与Poppy: 父母当然爱Poppy.
(2) 父母与孩子:父母思念孩子,父母可能是空巢的老人了,他们倍感孤独,但是父母可能也会鼓励孩子,因为他们会想到孩子刚进入新环境,可能还不适应新生活站在小孩的角度,我想到了:(1)小孩与小狗:小孩肯定思念小狗。
(2)小孩与父母:小孩肯定想念父母小孩肯定会迫不及待地告诉父母一些新学校的生活状况站在小狗Poppy的角度,我想到了:(1)小狗与小孩:小狗思念小孩,(2)小狗Poppy与另外一只小狗Bella: 它们相互熟悉起来。
不要觉得这种同理心很容易的,有时候你不一定能有更深入、更微笑的感受例如:站在父母的角度,有的同学可能止于“感到孤独”,不能达到“激励孩子”父母固然感到孤独,但是父母面对第一次出远门读书的孩子,他们会不会表达出自己的孤独呢?他们会怎样来评价这“孤独”呢?。
同理心的理解,可能会囿于个人经验,而不能得到相应的广度与深度例如,你每当过父母,可能不能理解父母;你没养过狗,你可能不能体会“狗”的忠诚但是,如果人类仅仅靠个人经验,也就是直接经验来获取感知认知,那么人类可能进步不了。
——其实我们可以用间接经验来弥补我们这上学受教育,其实有很大部分是获取间接经验我们平时读了很多文章,看到很多事情,应该能够思考到一定的广度与深度(三)要会思得深这个就颇为考验作者思维能力了还是举例:对于《小狗脱孤记》频繁提到的话题:离别与孤独。
你要只是泛泛而想,就可能是:小狗离别主人,感到孤独,这是它对人的真情所致,这种真情真是感人我们人类不也是这样对待动物吗?但你要是深入一点想,就可能是:小狗离别主人,感到孤独这父母离开孩子,也感到孤独啊,我们应不应该在感受到动物的真情时,也感受到人间的亲情?。
但你如果还深入一点想:小狗离别主人,感到孤独可是孤独有没有意义呢?人是不是要学会适应孤独,要会调节自己,从而让自己获得更大的成长呢?当然,还有很多想法结合给定的故事,基于你的逻辑与语言水平,来选择一种你要传达的思想。
如何获得深刻的思维这个需要我们有意识去培养要关心时事,要在阅读别人时,保持自己的独立思考,然后用科学的方法,得出自己的结论总之,就是要多进行思辨练习例如在时事方面:你知道2020年元宵节晚会现场没有观众吗?你知道钟南山吗?你知道新型冠状病毒吗?你知道全国人民是怎样抗击病毒的吗?你知道特殊时期的蔬菜价格吗?还有,你知道中美贸易战吗?你知道叙利亚战争吗?一个人见得多,关注得多,他思考的视角就比较广,还能达到深度。
当然,一个人的精力有限,不可能事事关注,但是大事,热点事还是需要我们关注的正所谓:风声雨声读书声,声声入耳;家事国事天下事,事事关心两耳不闻窗外事,或是两眼紧跟游戏跑,肯定不能决胜高考例如在保证自己独立思考方面:最近《方方日记》在海外出版的事,我们可以看到很多人的意见,你会觉得“正方反方”都有道理。
但如果真要深入,你就不能只是凭着自己的情感你要有自己的判断与分析,得有一个逻辑的论证日记中有很多道听途说,到底有没有,有多少?为什么要到海外出版,是不是在中国不能出版?日记到底能不能助长西方反华势力的气焰,抑或彰显一个大国的雍容自信?国家到底该不该管这个事?这些都是需要细细思考的,当然思考这些事也是不容易的,需要有学问。
那么在自己没有独立思考的前提下,就不要被煽动,就不要轻易下结论,这才是理智的表现例如在思辨方面:我们读完《孔乙己》,可以这样问自己:孔乙己为什么没考上?为什么连半个秀才都捞不到呢?孔乙己明知道酒店里的人都会取笑于他,他为什么还要去酒店呢?而且腿瘸了,还要去?鲁迅为什么要从小孩子的角度去写孔乙己呢?我们多问几个为什么,这件事就会越挖越深。
即便是一个普通的材料,当我们深入挖掘的时候,我们就要问:这是什么?为什么是这样?它将会发展成什么样?它对社会有什么影响?或者对某个人有什么影响?多读多看多独立,逐渐地,我们就会有广度与深度的。
三、美文赏析 接下来,杜老师为大家呈上三篇《小狗脱孤记》的续写美文这三篇文章,都是网上的优秀美文,都可以是22+的美文不过,立意有高下三篇立意逐次上升其实从给定的两个续段首句,基本可以判断出续写内容:。
续段一首句是 Dad opened the box and a sweet little dog appeared. 这续下去的可能就是两只小狗由不熟悉到熟悉到相处融洽当然你也可以写:Poppy 对小狗Bella 不感兴趣,依旧恋着主人。
不管怎么写,反正都是体现着:小狗有情,即便“无情”也是对主人有情 续段二首句是:A few weeks later, the boyarrived home from the university. 这续下去,可能必须就是人狗之间的情谊了。
可以看出两句段首句,基本确定了你起码要立的意:人与狗之间的情谊。 如果你要再高远一些,就需要在这基本立意的叙述中,加入一些细节。 大家好好体会下面三篇文章。
范文(一) (立意:起于“孤独的消失”,终于“人狗的情谊”)Dad opened the box and a sweet little dog appeared.(1) The two dogs sniffed
(嗅、闻) each other for a few moments.(2) Then, suddenly, the little dog leaped(跳跃) towards Poppy, who stepped back a little.
(leap—leaped/leapt—leaped/leapt,leap跳跃一词,两种过去式,过去分词都可以)(3) After a moment’s pause(停顿), Poppy licked
(舔) the little dog’s nose!(4) They decide to call her Lucky, since they were lucky to have such a sweet pet.
(5) As the days went by, Poppy and Lucky became best friends.(6) They loved to play together and, at night, would go to sleep in the same bed.
(7) The parents were relieved(宽慰的) that Poppy was cheerful again.A few weeks later, the boy arrived home from the university.

(3) The house was pulsating ( 搏动,跳动) with life.(4) Parents came up, hugging his son.(5) “One has to grow up in his new friends’company. We should get used to it.” Mom said half-jokingly, stroking
(抚摸)his thin but determined face.(7) Setting his mouth in a solemn line, the boy nodded.四、同学们的方向我记得在上次讲座里说了个观点:阅卷老师主要看大家的语言水平,立意只要不传递消极意义即可。
因此,同学们的方向就是:首先不要有“立意一定要高远”这种强迫症;其次,要努力去追求立意高远前者主要是“学以致考”,而后者则是“学以致思,致用,致美”上面三篇美文,写出(一)就足够好不过,要能欣赏与追求(二)与(三)。
还顺便举个例子:小朋友碰到黄庭坚的《牧童诗》,诗我只摘两句于下,你来续写: 牧童诗 (黄庭坚) 骑牛远远过前村,
短笛横吹隔陇闻。
你写到:这骑牛的儿童真可爱,好一副美丽的乡村图!谁说这样写不行呢?不过黄庭坚这样写:长安城内那些追名逐利之人啊,用尽心机也不如这儿童这般清闲自在(多少长安名利客,机关用尽不如君)立意不同,趣味也就不同了。
