household指的是住在同一个房子里的人，一家人，即“一户人”;family相对来说强调是“一家人”(主要指有血缘关系的亲人)，所以household可以不考虑血缘而是依托于house而存在的关系“户口”是一个比较有中国特色的东西，所以当你翻译时其实也可以直接说成“hukou”，只不过可能还需要稍微解释一下它的意思。
