01图表描述常用词汇

1、图表:chart/ graph / dlagram. bar chart (柱状图)pie chart (饼状图)table(表格)line chart (线形图)curve chart (曲线图)

2、数据: data,statistics3、比例: percentage, proportion, share4、占比: account for, take up, occupy, constitute, male up

5、表明/描述: show, display, portray, depict, illustrate, reflect,demonstrate, reveal,6、清晰地/明显地: clearly, vividly, obviously, apparently

7、增长/上升: increase,rise, grow, ascend, go up，climb (一般增长)surge, soar, jump (快速/大幅增长)8、减少/下降: decrease, decline, fall, descend, go

down,reduce (一般减少)plunge, slump (大幅减少/爆跌)9、稳定/没变化: remain unchanged / constant / steady / stable10、 表示变化程度:

①表速度快、幅度大: sharp / sharply, dramatic/dramatically, rapid/rapidly, significant / significantly,②表缓慢，幅度: slight / slightly,slow / slowly, gradual / gradually,gentle / gentle

11、大约: approximately,about, roughly, around12、对比: in comparison, by contrast,on the contrary, while,whereas

03表示数据增长，下降的常用句式1、the number of xxx increased dramatically from数字in年份to数字in年份，while the number of xxx declined from数字in年份to数字in 2010.

2、the number of xxx grew by变化幅度，from数字1 to数字2 over the起始年到终止年的年数years, whereas the number of mobile phone subscriptions in xxx ascended slowly from数字3 to数字4.

3、there was a dramatic / sharp increase in xXx from数字1 to数字2,while that of ... droppedslightly from数字3 to数字4.

rapid/rapidly   迅速的，飞快的（地）dramatic/dramatically  戏剧性的，生动的（地）significant/significantly  有意义的，重大的，重要的（地）

sharp/sharply    锐利的，明显的，急剧的（地）steep/steeply    急剧升降的（地）steady/steadily  稳固的，坚定不移的（地）gradual/gradually  渐进的，逐渐的（地）

slow/slowly   缓慢的，不活跃的（地）slight/slightly   轻微的、略微的（地）stable/stably   稳定的（地）04图表中的数据(Data)具体表达法

在一系列的时间段中转变: changes over time持续变化的data在不同情况下:增加: increase / raise / rise / go up …..….减少: decrease / grow down / drop / fall..….

波动: fluctuate / rebound / undulate / wave.....稳定: remain stable / stabilize / level off.....最常用的两种表达法:

动词+副词形式(V.+Adv. form)形容词+名词形式(Adj.+N. form)05图表中的数据(Data)具体表达法

significant changes图中一些较大变化noticeable trend明显趋势during the same period在同一时期grow /grew增长distribute分布，区别
