Cluj-Napoca, located in the northwest of Romania, is the capital of Transylvania region, and the seat of Cluj County. It is also an academic, cultural, industrial and transportation hub of Romania. With a history of more than 2,000 years, this city boasts many historic buildings and rich tourism resources. Spatially, it extends to all directions from the Unirii Square, the largest and most important square of the city and one of the biggest in Romania as well.

克鲁日•纳波卡市位于罗马尼亚西北部，是特兰西尔维尼亚省的心脏和克鲁日县的中心，也是罗马尼亚的一个学术、文化、工业和交通枢纽中心这座具有2000多年历史的城市，拥有多处历史遗留建筑，旅游资源颇为丰富其以联盟广场为中心，向四方延伸，该广场是这座城最大、最重要的一个广场，也是罗马尼亚最大的广场之一。

克鲁日•纳波卡市At present, the industrial technology zone is the economic engine of Cluj-Napoca. Innovation and promotion of high-tech industries are strongly supported and R&D activities in advanced technology fields are in full swing. In terms of financial service, Banca Transilvania, the largest stock-holding bank in Romania, and SSIF Broker SA, the largest securities company, are based in Cluj-Napoca; in the respect of education and R&D, Cluj-Napoca is famous in Europe as the oldest and most important university center. It has 11 universities (6 public universities and 5 private universities) focusing on information technology, science and invention application, aerospace, speleology, mining area planning and research, etc. In the future, it will study the bio-nanotechnology and communication technology.

目前，工业技术园区是克鲁日经济发展的引擎，不断鼓励创新和发展高新科技产业，积极开展先进技术领域的研发活动在金融服务产业方面，克鲁日拥有罗马尼亚最大的股份制银行Banca Transilvania和最大的证券公司SSIF Broker SA。

在教育与研发方面，克鲁日以最古老和最重要的大学中心而闻名欧洲，其拥有11所大学（公立6所，私立5所），其主要的研发领域涵盖信息技术、科学与发明应用、航天、洞穴学、矿区规划与研究等，未来还将致力于生物纳米技术和通讯技术的研究。

From April 18 to 19, 2019, Zhengzhou governmental delegation was invited to visit Cluj-Napoca city in Romania. The two sides held a conversation themed on “the 24

th Anniversary of the Establishment of Sister-Cities Relationships”, in which they reached a consensus on seeking for higher-quality and more diversified cooperation in a wider scope, and the delegation also promoted the abundant resources of traditional Chinese medicine in Zhengzhou.

2019年4月18日～19日，郑州市政府代表团应邀访问罗马尼亚克鲁日•纳波卡市，双方举行了“建立友好城市24周年”座谈会，就下一步推动更好质量、更宽领域、更多元化的合作达成共识，代表团还重点推介了郑州市丰富的中医药资源。

On April 9, 1995, a sister city agreement was signed between Zhengzhou and Cluj Napoca, which established the relationship between the two cities.

回首往事，1995年4月9日，郑州市与克鲁日•纳波卡市签订了友好城市协议书，两市缔结友好城市关系In 1996, Zhengzhou delegation visited Cluj-Napoca, discussing the exchange of students and the recruitment of football players, etc.。

1996年，郑州市友好访团前往克鲁日•纳波卡市，就互派交流学生、聘请足球运动员等事宜进行了商谈In 1997, Henan Jianye F.C. recruited 3 Romanian football players.。

1997年，河南建业足球俱乐部签约3名罗马尼亚籍足球外援In Aug. 2000, the youth international chess team of Zhengzhou took part in the International Chess Competition in Cluj-Napoca and achieved excellent results. 。

From 2002 to June 2003, Landscaping Administration Bureau of Cluj-Napoca jointly accomplished the “Yellow River, China” project with Zhengzhou City, adding the typical element of the sister city to local greenbelt.

2002年～2003年6月，克鲁日•纳波卡市市政厅绿化局与郑州市合作完成了项目“中国黄河”，在其城市内绿地加入友城代表性特征In Apr. 2004, the delegation from Zhengzhou visited Romania to attend the “Friendly Exhibition of Romania and China”.。

2004年4月，郑州市代表团赴罗马尼亚参加“罗马尼亚—中国友好展览会”。

On Sept. 9, 2009, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China-Romania diplomatic relation, the two mayors had dialogues via IDD and Internet in CRI’s programme “Online Dialogues between Mayors of China-Romania” to renew the friendship.

2009年9月9日，在中国国际广播电台的“相距不再遥远——中罗友好城市市长”对话节目中，两市市长在中罗建交60周年之际，通过国际长途和网络进行对话，畅叙友谊。

In Sept. 2010, the officials of the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca took part in the Urban Development Forum 2010 Zhengzhou and delivered speeches, laying new development foundation for the construction and planning of the two cities.

2010年9月，克鲁日•纳波卡市政厅官员参加郑州举办的2010城市发展（郑州）论坛并发言，这为两座城市的建设和规划奠定新的发展基础During Oct. 4-7, 2010, the mayor of Cluj-Napoca visited Zhengzhou and attended the 2。

ndChina Green Exposition.2010年10月4日至7日，克鲁日•纳波卡市市长访问郑州并参加第二届中国绿化博览会On Aug. 31, 2012, Mr. Constantine Vuschi, director of the Asia-Pacific Division of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, came to Zhengzhou for business investigation. In the following few years, he visited Zhengzhou for several times for cooperation.。

2012年8月31日，克鲁日•纳波卡市科技大学亚太部主任康斯坦丁•维斯坎来郑州进行业务考察。随后几年，多次来郑交流洽谈合作。

During Oct. 18-21, 2018, the delegation from Cluj-Napoca visited Zhengzhou and attended the 12th China Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival. During the period, Mr. Wang Xinwei, mayor of Zhengzhou Municipal Government, met with the delegation.

2018年10月18日~21日，克鲁日•纳波卡市代表团访问郑州，参加第十二届中国国际少林武术节其间，郑州市市长王新伟会见了代表团Interesting stories 友好趣闻“Coming to Zhengzhou is like to visit his family”。

“到郑州就像回家探亲似的”On Aug. 31, 2012, Mr. Constantine Vuschi, director of the Asia-Pacific Division of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, came to Zhengzhou for business investigation.

2012年8月31日，克卢日•纳波卡市科技大学亚太部主任康斯坦丁•维斯坎来郑州进行业务考察On Apr. 21, 2016, Mr. Constantine came to Zhengzhou again to promote the innovation city project supported by Cluj-Napoca Municipal Government and learn Zhengzhou’s experience in building smart city. To strengthen the cooperation in education, Mr. Constantine introduced the “Erasmus+” program of EU universities and had discussion on teacher exchange program with Zhengzhou University and Zhongzhou University. Since his first visit to Zhengzhou, Mr. Constantine has been introducing Zhengzhou to many of his friends and he also hopes to introduce the good stuff of Romania to Zhengzhou.。

2016年4月21日，康斯坦丁再次访郑，推介克鲁日•纳波卡市政府力主的创新城市项目，并听取了郑州关于建设智慧城市的经验为了加强两市教育方面的合作，康斯坦丁带来了欧盟大学合作的伊拉谟斯项目，与郑州大学、中州大学等就教师交流工作进行了座谈。
