      1976年，在罗马的圣安德列德拉弗雷特路30号一间五层的顶层阁楼上，住着一个奇怪的人他把自己关在阁楼，决定写一本关于异世界的百科全书，接下来的三年，他完全痴迷于此三年里，唯一陪伴塞拉菲尼创作的，是他捡到的一只被遗弃的白猫。

最终他写成了一本被誉为世界十大天书的《塞拉菲尼抄本》      In 1976, a strange man lived in a five-story penthouse at 30 Rue SAN Andreas de La Frete in Rome. He locked himself in the attic, decided to write an encyclopedia of other worlds, and for the next three years, he was totally obsessed with it. For three years, the only thing that accompanied Serafinis work was an abandoned white cat he found. The result was codex Serafini, one of the worlds top ten books.

      Since the first edition, linguists have been trying to decipher the language of the book, written in an entirely new language created by author Serafini, but progress has been painfully slow. So far, only the numeral system used to mark page numbers has been cracked. So, from a literal point of view, this is a book that no one in the world can read.

     The Codex Serafini is divided into two volumes with eleven chapters. The first volume focuses on the natural sciences, including botany, zoology, teratology, chemistry, physics, and mechanics; The second volume is dedicated to the humanities, including anatomy, ethnography, anthropology, mythology, linguistics, cooking, games, fashion, and architecture.
